Richmond Edison goes 3 and 1 for the week.
Lost first game of season to Martins Ferry 1 to 0. Great performances by both pitchers for the first game of season. Edison beat Ferry 6 to 1 later in the week.
Beat Minerva 18 to 2 and New Philadelphia 10 to 6.

Have had some good weather for the start of season. Hope it continues.

During some free time at work today I was checking out some sites and seen on the Maxpreps website that Indian Creek was #1 in the state in runs. I'm sure that not all schools send in their stats, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a local team rated #1. Good job!!

Congrats Creek. How many have they scored?

I heard Edison was ranked 17th in D2 at the start of season but proceeded to lose the opener and another this week. I'm sure they are way up now.

8 games is alot in one and a half weeks. This may have them ranked higher than they should be.

Although averaging over 9 runs a game is not to shabby.

It's a shame not all schools in the state use maxpreps. It would be a great way to follow kids, compare them, and for college coaches to see what's out there.

St C won a tight one with Buckeye yesterday. I think they are 5-1 in the conference as well. Buckeye goes to 2-4 in the conference.
UL (4-2) beat Edison (3-3)
Ferry (5-1) beat Harrison (0-6)
