Looking into getting a set of clubs. Most likely starter clubs or something that's good that's low cost. Want to get back into the swing of things, literally. There are some nice courses in North Chicago area and they are good to military. Any suggestions?

Williams Black Diamond Series.
Seriously though, just go to Dicks and get a set of their cheaper irons.

Depends how much you have/want to spend, but I would also say go to Dicks and get a set of their cheaper clubs.

I don't want to spend too much. I wouldn't even mind gently used set. I just don't know where I"m going to be stationed within the next 4 to 6 months so I don't want to spend a lot. I wish I could go to garage sales I just don't have the time to do it.

I'm sure Craigslist has a ton as well, if you have any questions about any you find on there PM one of us.

Thanks mattinctown. I checked craigslist. They didn't have much but maybe soon.

Golfgalaxy usually has a large selection of used clubs, there has to be a store near you in Chicago.

Yeah those look much better, didn't even see those. I"m going to go to dicks tomorrow.
I'm not sure what hybrid long irons are.

Is there a Golfsmith store near you? They usually have some sweet deals on new and used stuff.

I know there are both Golf Galaxy and Golf Smith within 20 mins. I'll go check those out too.

I like the ones on the link you posted Ytown, I think you would like the hybrid irons, much easier for beginners/novices to hit than the regular irons. Pretty good price, plus you get the bag as well
