Who is surprised? I thought they had no chance against Gahanna-Lincoln.

It's all about matchups. Gahanna-Lincoln had absolutely NOBODY that could guard Egner or Henniger. Nobody! Egner knew they couldn't stop him, and he imposed his will all night. What an exciting team (and player) to watch. They will have a much tougher time against Moeller tomorrow night, though.

Surprised me. Hopefully Jackson takes it all.

They were in Big Red's Summer Slam tournament last year, and from what I've heard about them, this isn't surprising at all.

Wow...they are putting it to Moeller tonight. This game is pretty much over at the end of the 3rd....Jackson leads by 24.

Honestly, I think it is because he is 6'7" and not 6'9". He is a beast.ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote: How is Egner only going to Akron?

Yeah, I agree. He has tremendous timing on blocks and a good sense of the game.

What a Blonde moment for the interviewer. Refers to him as a Jr?

That had to be embarrassing. I liked how the kid said that he was a senior and just went on with the interview.

Ill admit I thought the STO announcers pounded that point home maybe a bit too much!! The referred to it so often, I began thinking it was a bit of a dig on the Tigers?skank wrote: Yeah, I guess forever could be considered a long time.

Sto really needs to get announcers that a little more colorful and just don't say the same thing game after game. Brad needs to go and the guy with the run out statement might want to use the tem fast break once in a while. The heavy set guy in the studio is horrendous. Wow, is that the best STO can do?

gotta agree with you here . Not at all impressed with STO's calling and "analysis" of these games. At least they're on TV so we can watch them, and am thankful for that, but, like you said, that's the best they can do?

Jackon's 3rd quarter was impressive. Moelller kids fought hard but they just didnt have an answer for those bigmen on Jackson, every shot they put up in the paint was wiped out. I went to 6 games this weekend and I think that Jacksons performance last night was the best that I saw.

Nothing is more awful than the disrespect shown by the Moeller fans at the end. Just more fuel on my fire to get rid of all sports in private schools. No sense of community....the only people left to witness the trophy and medal presentation to their team were about 30 students and maybe 100 total fans...and I am being generous. Pathetic really. Yeah they chanted "we have Jesus" during the game but "Jesus" was no where to be found even in the fourth quarter...he didn't care enough to stick around and support his team. Moeller should be embarrassed by the disregard not only for their own team but for the team that schooled them on how to play basketball. My team came up a bit short Saturday but 90% of our fans stuck around not only for our own boy's awards, but to applaud the State Champions as well. Jackson, I am sure, would have done the same...congrats to the Polar Bears on your first Sate Title

The sad part is it still puts ONN to shame.sports_talk wrote: The heavy set guy in the studio is horrendous. Wow, is that the best STO can do?
I'll take the heavy set guy in the studio over JJ in the studio!
She's still learning, she is currently an OU student. She's the color commentor for the women's games on the radio down here, and some HS games.KR1245 wrote: That sideline reporter isnt too bad to look at but thats about it
