With them winning the Division 1 State Championship last season, and with Jared Sullinger (OSU), J.D. "Highlight" Weatherspoon (OSU), and Trey Burke (PSU) returning, I think it's safe to say they are the HEAVY favorites. Anyone know who will are some other teams that will give them a run for their money in Ohio? I think Brookhaven and Beechcroft will be some competition, and the winner of the City League South, any others?

In Ohio? Look for Cleveland St. Edwards, Massilon Jackson, Warren G. Harding and Cincinnati Moeller to provide a stiff test for the Vikings. As well as a team like Gahanna if they are hitting on all cylinders.

Apparently, Northland is #4 in the country, and they are playing the #2 and #3 teams (Findlay of Nevada and Oak Hill). If they win those, they prove their worth. I expect Northland to be untouchable in Ohio.

I would say they are the favorites to win it again. They will be very tough.

They will be the favorites, but whoever comes out of that Greater Catholic League in Cincy will probably give them a run for their money.

They also play Bishop Luers (Ind.) on ESPN. That should be a game we should all watch as Luers features OSU's future PF DeShaun Thomas.

The Bishop Leurs game will not be on ESPN. The two ESPN games are Findley Prep on December 17th and the Oak Hill Academy Game on January 16th.
