I wouldn't be surprised at all if Manu is out of the NBA after this year.

Heard the Cavs would be interested in signing Ginobli to the MLE next season.

If that Number is right. Ginobili is gone, and I wouldn't blame him.

Hell no, I wouldn't either.

He'd go there and instantly become one of the top players in the league, while making BANK.

I know it's easy to say this when you're not in the situation, but I'd take a few million less to play in the NBA. When you're at those dollar amounts, giving up a few million to improve my legacy and play against the best would be well worth it.

Still, I wouldn't begrudge him if he took the offer.

Heard that also, would be a nice addition.

For the topic, that is a lot of money to pass up.

But Manu is already a multi millionaire and he may like the competition of the NBA. He could go to a contending team, as most will take him, still make 4-5+ mil and have another shot at a ring.

Maybe as an American. I think living in Europe is an ultimate goal of a lot of people outside of America. I know Manu is from South America, but I dont think America has a draw to him any more than Europe (Madrid, Spain in this case) does.

Here is the bottom line: the NBA is the best league in the world.

It isn't even close, the top players WANT to play here--and Manu is a top player.

Now I wouldn't be surprised to see him go, just because it's late in his career. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign with the Cavs either. Or stay with the Spurs. Even if it's less money, there is a big part of most of those guys that wants to be playing on the top level.

LeBron or one of the other big names could sign over there for a ridiculous amount and completely dominate the league--but they won't because the NBA is the NBA. No other league in the world even comes close--it's where all the history that these guys are chasing is, it's where the best players are. It is what it is.

EXACTLY why the best soccer players play over in Europe. Tim Howard could probably make some bank here playing in the US but he's playing against better competition over for Everton. It's all about the competition.
