The creators compare it to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, and if that's the case it would be very good.

Looks pretty damn good. Glad its gonna be just a plain scary Nightmare on elm st movie...because the last few were like comedy/horror

This is going to be crazy scary. The original was ridiculous when I was a kid. Didnt sleep for a week. With what filmmakers can do now this thing may haunt people for months.

Looks decent. Scary and horror movies have really taken a dump the last 15 years for the most part so something good would be nice.

I came away very impressed.
Jackie Earle Hayley does a great job as Freddy in my opinion.
The opening and ending are pretty good.

The Devils Rejects is one of the greatest horror movies of all time. There is nothing to critique about it.
House of 1000 corpses well that was his first effort and he failed with the bunny outfits that went over the top but he learned and corrected all that with The devils rejects. Halloween and Halloween 2 were just fine.
His newest project is going to be awesome!
As to A nightmare on Elm street I will be seeing it today.
