Upsets happen in sports. Golden State wiped up the Mavericks as a number 8 seed. You won't even acknowledge that there was any luck at all in the Magic Series. You rolled on the floor at my Verajou tip in thread. All I know...if that ball falls off, Andy tips it in and on to game 7 we go.
This is your problem, Golden St. was a match up NIGHTMARE for Dallas. I just don't believe in upsets in a 7 game series. especially when one team looks better than the other. You look at vegas lines to decide who to go for in terms of favorites and stuff... Which is perfectly fine in college sports and the NFL.. But not so much in the other major sports where the teams decide it over a course of a series.
you want me to acknowledge luck? How about that lucky shot LeBron hit to win Game 2.
IF he doesn't hit that, we go down 0-2 and probably 0-3. Game 3 in Orlando would have been damn near impossible to win. (we didn't win it anyway)
I love how I'm stating facts, such as we went 3-10 against Orlando last season, yet you play the "IF" card by saying what "if" Lebron MISSES the FT and Varejao tips it in?
What if LeBron misses the FT and Varejao missed?
It DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
What did happen was a 2-4 series loss for the Cavs. Point blank. Again, nothing else matters.
I'll give up this subject, per request from you.
I want to focus on this season, because frankly, as a Cleveland sports fan, we don't get to enjoy these types of seasons often. Hopefully these previous two seasons were just the start for a dominant Cavs run--and hopefully Cleveland gets it done this year.
