The new student union building at OSU is set to open next week. Here are some photos of the new place. Looks pretty sweet. Kind of makes me wish I was a student so I had a good excuse to hang out there.

Design-wise, it reminds me a lot of the Schott.

oh yeah. i payed something like 72 dollars more this quarter for this thing. it better be cool.

chances are it will be filled 24/7 just like Thompson Library

Recreation and Physical Activity Center aka RPAC (2005)

Thompson Library (Renovation completed 2009)

Ohio Union (2010)

3 World Class facilities for students in the last 5 years, plus OSU is the best school in Ohio for the money.

Couldn't be more proud to be a Buckeye.

Very true. It's nice to see that they are not only spending tons of money on world-class athletics facilities, but also on things all students can benefit from. It's also nice that the athletic department contributed a ton of money to these projects (especially the football team for the library). OSU is quickly becoming one of the nicest campuses anywhere.
