...Since 1979, with the exception of Maryland in 2002, every NCAA champion had at least one McDonald's All-American on its roster.....

Interesting sidenote. Since 1979, Duke has followed this up with (1) former player winning an NBA Championship. Danny Ferry with san Antonio.

I dont like the smell of John Wall repeating 8th grade either. Getting a bit bigger/stronger right before his freshman year? Shady at best.

A lot of kids do that these days, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Although in Wall's case, he just held himself out of the NBA for an extra year, so it really hurt him.september63 wrote: I dont like the smell of John Wall repeating 8th grade either. Definitely a common practice. There are small schools in Southern Ohio that do this.september63 wrote: I dont like the smell of John Wall repeating 8th grade either. Getting a bit bigger/stronger right before his freshman year? Shady at best.
