I'm not up to date on the rules and regulations of the NFL so I have a question. I know the trade deadline is over but can a team still sign players? Baltimore is in dire need of a better place kicker and they were mentioning last night that they were taking a look at a few. I was wondering if they could sign them now or if they just meant they were looking into them for next season.

^^^A They could sign your momma if they wanted too. FA's are FA's. Most contracts are not guaranteed in the NFL.

Free Agents can sign whenever. Hints the Larry Johnson signing for the Bengals.
