They're taking bad shots almost every time down. They took some against Georgetown too and made a lot of them, but it is every time down the floor right now, and they aren't falling. Tennessee can D up on OU's guards better than Georgetown could because Tennessee's guards are quicker.

Damn, single digits would have been great for as bad a half that was.

Still, 11 points is workable.

Tough one but coach needs to go set the tone in the locker room.

Don't walk in there like the players looking around and confused.

Get the fight back up.

Say Tennessee is a good team. What did you expect? This is the NCAA Tournament. They can play.

Offensively, they're playing silly. Guards are driving to nowhere, big guys are trying to use post moves they don't have.

Keep it simple. Work the ball around and take open jump shots. The big guy can hit those. Freeman has shown he can hit from outside. The other guards could still get hot from midrange and out.

They made 13 of 23 three-pointers against Georgetown (57 percent)

That was the main ingredient in the upset.

I think it will have to be again, and they've been decent so far 5 of 11 (mostly Freeman with four)

It's because they moved the ball around and they didn't hesitate to shoot and they played at a quick pace.

Not the case today. I think they're too sacred to play at that fast pace because they think that favors UT but you can't go away from what got you here. You have one day to practice for a team--you just go play your game and see what happens, if you lose so be it but you have to try to do what you do well.

Their guards seem to be struggling with the slower pace.

Tough call, though, with Tennessee's athletes. Ohio is pretty much outmanned on the defensive end either way.

If you speed it up it might allow the guards to just play and not worry about being as precise which they're trying to be and they're not comfortable.

But, a few turnovers and another Tennessee run puts it away, so it's kind of like if you speed it up you better drain some shots quickly and match fire.

That's what I'm saying. You have a day to prepare for a team who is supposed to be better than you anyways. You're a Cinderella. You bring your game and see if it works--you can't try to play away from UT's strengths if it takes yours away too.

They're really slow getting back on defense right now.

Even when they're back, Tennessee is going through them like nothing lol

Tough to win a game like this.

An easy solution doesn't make it a good solution. I don't have a 42 inch laptop screen.
