Greinke definitely deserves this award. There is only one place that is harder to win in than Kansas City. That, of course, would be any game played in Comerica Park that can clinch an American League East Title for the Tigers.

yeah i had a friend who thought CC should win and i thought Greinke should win. I then explained winning in KC is harder than winning in NY.

As much as I love Verlander and think he had an awesome year, Grienke was most deserving of the award. Great record on a terrible team, amazing ERA, top 5 in strikeouts, and was just great from beginning to end. Great to see him find success after his health issues in the past.
