My girlfriend used to make comments about Wedge when he coached the Tribe always sniffing and rubbing his red nose.

I will tell you what. Wedge's eyes always looked like he was on something too. That wide eyed look.

Better question is why is putting something in one's own body illegal.

I agree that it should not be illegal to use drugs.

Even if they were legal I think companies/organizations should still be able to make the call on whether or not someone can partake while under their employ.

Back to the topic of Ron Washington, hopefully this has nothing to do with Josh Hamilton for Josh Hamilton's sake.

Why would Josh have anything to do with the coach doing cocaine. I know Josh had issues in the past but you don't really think he would turn on the coach do you?

I could not imagine what it would be like if using drugs was not illegal. I'm not saying I disagree that drugs should not be legal but could you imagine what it would be like if they weren't.

I'll bet people would be killing each other in the streets, gang activity, thugs burglarizing your grandma, ppl swerving over the yellow line and killing innocent driver's. I'll bet there'd be neighborhoods you wouldn't even want to go to for fear of being killed...Sounds horrible.

Not saying he did. Just saying it's not a great situation for him to be in.

With some of the pitching moves he made in a few games I watched with the Extra Innings package last year, he had to be on something

Did they say on espn that they don't test the players for recreational drugs just PED's?

I'm not positive but I could swear they said that

I guess from reading the article Nolan Ryan wanted to bounce him... can't say I blame him for the initial reaction at the time
