The hit was avoidable, but not that bad imo. The fact that I'm not a hockey fan and know of this is the reason behind the suspension more than anything else.

It's about time!!!!! Ovechkin has got a free pass up until now because of his talent but I still think someone's going to get him and get him good.

Crap hit, crap suspension.
Ovechkin is looking at Campbell's back from the time he hits the top of the circles, so he only had about 45 feet to decide whether or not to make a hit or not.

I thought it wasn that bad......def should be a boarding penalty i guess.....but dont know about the suspension.

Lol that is a weak suspension. If the guy didnt get hurt, id bank the NHL wouldnt of even looked twice @ the hit

Ship his ass back to Russia. I'm going to the Pens-Caps game April 6 at the Igloo (with a friend who's a stupid Caps fan who will be wearing an Assvechkin jersey so I'm not going to be responsible to what happens to him...) I'm hoping that's the game he gets his fill of FREE CANDY.

That hit was far from a suspension worthy offense. If Campbell doesn't get hurt, it's a 4 minute double minor max and nothing more.

Guarantee? Nobody is off limits, there are players that will attack a star and try to level them. Ovechkin's been able to avoid it thus far but you can't always be on the ice with your head up.
