53-26 over the Miami Valley Silverbacks

There are 8 UC alum and several other alumni from around the state of Ohio.

I encourage anyone near Cincinnati to attend a game.
Free Parking at every game and Dollar Beer night at every game

You can get a family ticket pack (4 tickets, 4 hotdogs, and 4 sodas for 40 dollars)

In a tough economy this is a cheap entertaining night out....

You're willing to walk into the Gardens? It kind of looks as though it may collapse on you when you're in there haha.

Thanks Justin. Sorry about that.

Theres a nice picture of Dominick Goodman making a one handed TD grap on the home page. (UC fans know who he is).

And I guess Mauk looked really good in the second half.

If it weren't for Mauks injuries, he would most likely be playing on sundays....

Did you go to the game? If so did Brandon Boehm play? I knew him in college and wondered if he saw any PT or if he was just on the roster. Either way it is good to see some Mount guys still playing. I know the Canton Legends had a few guys from Mount too.

I have finals this week and spent all night saturday in the library :(

I'll be at every other home game and probably at least one or two away games. I'll keep an eye out next time and let you know.

Completely agree. He would have had a 10+ year career. But that injury is huge. And with the crap that has to be blocking for him this will likely just result in getting beat up again.

That being said, if it gets him to the NFL so be it I guess.

Mauk just had so much pure talent. Maybe the most talented I ever got to see in person.

Did you only see him play for UC? Or did you get the chance to follow him in high school and at Wake?

This is the league the Marion Mayhem play in.

Marion is the only team left from when the league was formed.

Is this the team that Benny Mauk is the QB?

The league now down to 6 teams.
Cincinnati
Miami Valley (which does not have a home game)
Marion (which almost moved to Columbus)
Ft. Wayne
Chicago (Villa Park)
Wisconsin (Madison)

They have the Marion Mayhem now listed as the Columbus Aces on the Commandos website. Is that incorrect?

I'm looking forward to catching a few games. I was out of town this past weekend...but my future in-laws went to the game and said it was a blast.

And let's face it...Dollar Beers at every game...I'd be crazy NOT to go!

Your not the only one:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Mayhem

Goodbye? - 2010: On Christmas Eve 2009, the Mayhem announced they would not be playing in Marion in 2010, citing the economic downturn. According to the ownership of the team, "if the situation in Marion improves they may entertain the idea of returning the Mayhem to Marion". As part of the disbanding of the Mayhem organization, all players, coaches, and staff were transferred to the new CIFL team starting play in 2010, the Columbus Aces. However in late January of 2010 rumors of the potential folding of the Columbus Aces started circulating. Then a couple of weeks into February 2010 a new rumor began . . . the Mayhem would be returing to Marion. While no official announcement has been made, the Marion Mayhem began training camp on 2/22/10 at a local Marion middle school.

Dominic Goodman is a beast. If he were only a little taller and a step faster he would be playing on Sundays. I remember him running that triple option for Cincinnati Colerain--- I haven't seen anyone run the option that well since the Nebraska Cornhuskers with Tommie Frazier.
