Soon as the person before you picks, you will have 3 hours to pick your player. If you aren't there in 3 hours, we will get a consensus on the "next avallable" to whoever is online at that time. I have finals this week so i'll be pretty busy, but i'll try and get on here as much as possible. If i'm not here, hopefully a few posters can get the next best pick for whoever doesn't pick...if i come on here and see that the pick is very "unfair" for the person, I will veto it...for example, ccrunner hates me..if i dont get on, and ccrunner is the only one on here and he gives me a 1 ppg player from Lehigh, it will be vetoed by me. This shouldn't be a problem, however, I trust most of you.
Also, just remember a few rules.
If your player gets hurt in the tourney, ppg on the season will be rewarded..if he gets hurt 2 min into the game and only has 2 points, he will get 2 points for the game, and ppg for the season for every game after that.
The 3 hour time limit will be temporarily disabled from midnight to 8 am. If someone starts up at 11 pm, and doesn't pick...he has til 10 am the following morning.
8 rounds total...8 players per huddler. If there is a tie, the tiebreaker will be the highest scoring player; if its still a tie after that, 2nd highest scorer, and so on until there's a winner. But in the 5 years of doing this, there's never been a tie.
Good luck everyone..this should be fun!

If we dont get through the rounds, I say we eliminate it (IE, if 5 people pick in round 8 then the games start we just use the 7 rounds that are complete).

Yeah good call Laley..even though I think we'll get through 8, if we don't get through a full round, that round will be eliminated.
I won't lose any sleep if we lose a round or two.

Im trying to think of some. I would have a bunch if we were all meeting, but over the internet some of my ideas wouldnt really work.
BTW, I also think we will get through 8. 7 for sure.

Set it up for some night this week, we could get through a lot more picks that way. Or at least set up a skype call/chat that everyone can log on whenever and make their pick/discuss, etc...
Then again, if people just stay aware, we can easily get this done. This forum won't see a busier time than this upcoming week.

Yeah, I mean we're not doing this in the college football bowl season haha we're doing it in the busiest time of the year for this forum.
I mean i just don't realistically seeing everyone being able to skype at the same time...but if we can get it done, I guess I'd be down.
I've never used Skype before actually.

Ive never used Skype either. I have a Mac so just do the whole video chat function, but you can only get 1 person. It would be impossible to all Skype at the same time. I for one usually work till about 10-11. Im free all day till like 4.
As I type this I get my schedule and have almost the whole freaking week off. Kind of catch-22. I need to work to make some more money but damn Im glad I dont work Thursday-Sunday!
