We seem to have one every year. Which team is your pick?

Very tough this year.
I think this is a down year in college basketball, so I think a bunch of teams could make a run at this thing.
I will say Cornell to the Sweet Sixteen.

I wanted to take either Cornell or Northern Iowa or St. Mary's or Richmond, to me any one of those teams could have made a run.
I didn't like seeing Temple vs. Cornell or Richmond vs. St. Mary's. To me either one of those teams could have topped a big boy on the first day of the tourney. Its almost as if the NCAA didn't want to see any of those teams separately make a run and ruin the big Sweet 16 or Elite 8 plans the NCAA has if everyone were to win out with the top seeds. Its like they said, "instead of all these teams potentially making a run, we'll make the four of you play each other, so if it happens only 2 of you could potentially ruin brackets across America."

Duke- The lowely stepsister who with the help of their fairy godmother come out on top.
As for an acutally Cinderella team I need to look over the brackets as a whole to see what I think.

Yeah I hate Duke. Why do you care so bad? You are following me around everywhere I post just to put that. Thanks for the attention though.

Homer pick, but how can you not like a ND team who has won 6 of their last seven (Pitt X2 including once by 15, @ Marquette, @ Georgetown by 16, UConn, Seton Hall) with a loss at the buzzer to WVU in the BE semis?

How about Texas A&M? Sleeper Final Four pick with the Regional in Houston. Same could go for Baylor.

A 6 seed from the Big East cannot be a Cinderella in my opinion.athlete37 wrote: Homer pick, but how can you not like a ND team who has won 6 of their last seven (Pitt X2 including once by 15, @ Marquette, @ Georgetown by 16, UConn, Seton Hall) with a loss at the buzzer to WVU in the BE semis?

Old Dominion, Cornell, Utah State, UTEP, and Murry State I feel could all make runs to the sweet 16 or further.

Darkhouse deep run team I guess is what I meant. I don't like potentially playing Nova in the sweet 16, but I guess I'd be happy if we made it that far

I like Murray State and Siena to potentially run to a Sweet 16

You like playing Nova as much as I like playing Pitt. Being a 6 seed blows.athlete37 wrote: Darkhouse deep run team I guess is what I meant. I don't like potentially playing Nova in the sweet 16, but I guess I'd be happy if we made it that far

I also have Wisconsin in the Elite 8....I have Texas beating Kentucky in the 2nd round, then Texas losing to Wisconsin. Wv winning that region.

I'm not sure if they count since they are from a major conference, but I too think Texas can surprise some folks.
