Yeah when it gets to this time of year, I like watching the CBS game regardless of who is playing. Or I like their coverage I should say.

Blame this one on ESPN.

Good ball game. Miss St really likes the 3...have some talent. Live and die with the 3 though. Cousins struggling and in foul trouble.

you wonder if Miss State must win

Kentucky is a pretty bad defensive team. They aren't a very good shooting team either. A team that can pound the ball inside and make them take the ball out of the basket to limit their running game will knock them out of the NCAA.

Mississippi State probably has to win to get in because their resume is just plain weak.

Ted Valentine is single handily keeping Mississippi St. from getting a 6-8 point lead, some BAD calls

Calipari likes the open play where all of his guys have the freedom to take open shots and create off the drive and so forth.

Good strategy against most teams because the talent will just be too much.

But when it gets down to tight games, the possessions require more smarts and relying on the really good guys and not necessarily anyone chucking a three.

They do have three good options at crunch time -- throw it in to Patterson or Cousins or just let Wall handle the ball and make it happen.

Miss State has done a good job taking away the inside.

Thought MSU might hang around for a while, but I'm surprised they have played this well.

I guess that's what desperation does for you.

Ravern Johnson

6'7 junior

40 percent from three-point range, nice smooth stroke

remember him in the second round of the draft

Varnado looks like he wants to die.

Better make some FTs.

Missed 'em both. UK still has a chance.
