I think I will pick up HBO for the next few months just to catch this series. Looks like it will be a good one.

But be warned: It's graphic, brutal and full of heartbreak. The relentless flash of explosives and zing of bullets — made as realistic as possible by sophisticated special effects and stunt doubles — are in-your-face stunning.
In fact, you could say HBO's new 10-part drama packs even a bigger punch than its lauded HBO predecessor that was set in the war's European Theater: "Band of Brothers."

I was at my buddies house who is a History teacher. His wife's 98 year old great-aunt calls to remind them that the series starts Sunday, and it is on HBO.
