Maybe POY got voted on a little to soon, Hackett is looking awfully tough.

Don't kid yourselves, the WCAL was mediocre this year. Only Nor & Hills were tough all year long. Dalton just got healthy, most of the season you didn't know what to expect from them. Chippewa was total cannon fodder. Smithville was more like a traveling hospital than a football team. Northwestern & Waynedale were like moody girlfriends, they only put out occasionally. While Rittman played a friggin' jv schedule. Thats the truth men (and boys-OrrQB).

I'd love to address all the non-football stuff, but I think I'm on double secret probation and I can't afford any infractions. I will say that the Orr fans cry when you troll their thread but they don't see a problem when they do it.
Hillsdale fans, Stand tall. Your team ROCKS! everybody else is just jealous. The falcons are so strong compared to the other 7, they should rename the the league.....The Central Ashland Conference and her 7 little brothers.

What are your realistic scoring predictions for the Norwayne and Ursuline game? Can Norwayne keep the margin under 30 points? Does anyone think Norwayne has a chance of pulling off the biggest upset in high school football?

I Think Hillsdale is playing sound football and very well could avenge last years loss. Dalton appears to have everything falling into place with getting guys healthy and seem to be rolling and building momentum. I clearly can see a win there as well. Norwayne....A few years ago the Bears had Ursiline on their heels...played toe to toe for a half...then the wheels fell off. As well as this Irish team is playing, I simply see a beatdown. I would LOVE to see Norwayne punch em in their mouth....but reallistically, Beast dont see that happening. Ursiline by 43


EDIT: Stranger things have happened!!! Look at what Coldwater did to University of Mooney in the Finals a few years ago!!!

I think Norwayne has had a great season and should be proud they made it this far....realistically they will get beat.

Dalton and Hillsdale both have a great chance of winning.

I remember a few years when Waynedale played Ursuline and kept it fairly close for a half. Same thing this week for the Bobcats, but in the end...its too much talent to deal with!

If Norwayne is going to have any chance, they can't start slow like they usually do. If they spot Ursuline a couple of TDs early, there will be no heroic late rally. It would help the Bobcats if the weather turned nasty but it doesn't sound like that will happen.
In a nutshell, if the Cats can come out on fire and stay in the game...anything can happen. However, the reality of the situation is Ursuline has the advantage in all aspects of the game and Norwayne will probably get blown out by 5 or more touchdowns. Hope I'm wrong but its most likely the end of the line for Crestons finest.

On the lines of what Red Rum is saying, I will second that anything can happen. I'm not a fan of this predicting scores business. To say that Norwayne is going to lose by 30 or 40, I hope that Bob Cat posters are telling all their boys that. Case in point, when we played Cardinal Mooney, we had a long pass to the end zone on our first drive that was tipped and almost caught. We catch that and we up 7-0. Could have changed the whole direction of the game. Anything can happen and I hope it works out in Norwayne's favor. Do it for my old pal, Coach Burk!

In the DR today: the pic of the Dalton backfield......my copy looked like green numbers on the jersey's. Where's the orange? The only orange was on the padding of the goal post in the background. You can't show a pic of Bull Dogs without orange in it!

For Dalton fans, BRF, unlike some, thinks that Klinefelter Stadium is a great venue for a play-off game. You are lucky that it's just a hop and a skip down the highway. Go get them in honor of another old pal of mine, Coach Ram! Give McDonald the "old" e-i-e-i-o!
