I hope he makes the right decision. If he goes to the Riders I guess he will find out how good he is.

Yea I am hearing Orrville's QB situation is up in the air as far as who it will be, their is not clear cut starter and the ones competing for it are not your typical Qb like they have had in the past. Not saying Wallace will be like the other QB but it sounds like it would be an upgrade from what I am hearing. He also would be a nice addition to the basketball team as well. Have to see if it actually happens first.

He will need to step his game up over there. Orrville plays teams at a level or two better than he faced in the WCAL. I guess that is my question is he good enough to play at that level? Or will he get there and just be another average QB?

would be surprised if this happened - they would have to move this summer to be able to change schools at this point without some kind of exception if that is even possible.

It is just a rumor. And IMO it would be an epic failure for him to even try it

Yea guys I would be surprised also if he moved but you never know what can happen. Also yea 4Ringz he will have to face a lot better competition then he has in the past going from the WCL to the OCC this actually may not be a good move for him, but who knows what will happen.

Looks like the Dawgs are headed to The Swamp for the second scrimmage of the season this year.

Ok I hit send too quickly. Let me add the Triway, Wooster, Northwestern scrimmage will be held in West Salem this year. I can't wait.

Yeah I remember them in the final tune up scrimmage for several years now. Usually a good scrimmage. Like I said I am looking forward to it. I would like to meet up with all the Dalton faithful from here that evening.

I know Orr... but who would be the second D1 recruit? I don't think they had anyone else with the size or speed to play D1, did they?

Just got registered here with OhioChatter after a long absence from the huddle and discovering that they now want me to pay... What a silly idea. Anyways, glad that we can be back to talking Wayne County football!
IMO, Dalton should be the favorite to win the league this year. They are one of the few schools returning a majority of their starting squad, and have the winning tradition to carry them through the coaching change.

2010 is wide open!!! It should be an exciting year in the WCAL and you can call me crazy, but I thought Smithville was the best team in the league when the season ended. Granted, they started poorly but from week 8 on they were a totally different team thrashing Northwestern 35-14 and ruining Norwaynes playoff bid 21-18. If they can find the magic of weeks 8-10 from last season, this season will be memorable.
Dalton, Northwestern, Norwayne & Waynedale should all have solid seasons and can't be overlooked in the championship race.
Hillsdale probably takes a step back this year, but they won't return to the Falcons of old, their cellar dwellar days are over.
Doylestown & Rittman will hopefully be better, but still not contenders.

My only question mark with Dalton is can the new coach manage a team with such a low turn out? Not being critical just questioning if he will be adept at winning with thirty five kids give or take in his first season. Northwestern had a couple of hard losses last year and Thut being a Schrock disciple won't let that happen again, that us why I have them slated to win it all. Well that and the fact I am an alumni, but never a homer when I take the blue and gray to win the championship in every sport.
Wonder who Beverboy will predict to win the league? HMMM
U GUESS RIGHT LOL
