I'm guessing the whole "used to play for IU" thing?

Yep. He was SOOO good. One of the smoothest shots I have seen.

Also, other than the whole pot-head thing (which I personally love:D), was a great guy. Only player on the team (along with DJ White) that gave me a 1 on 1 interview. Those two were so nice to everyone. DJ is by far my favorite player of all time, and if Armon had stayed for 4 years he wouldve been up there as well.

Glad to see he is doing so well since leaving Indiana.

Last night was a peak moment for Bassett and basically what Ohio fans have been hoping to eventually see out of Coach Groce's big grab of a recruit. He's had a good season. Some injuries at the beginning of the season didn't give him the start he was probably hoping for, but I think we are now seeing and will see next year a player that clearly stands-out talent wise in the MAC.

He has had some behavioral issues though. He was suspended at the beginning of the season I believe for academic reasons. Then earlier this season Groce sent him to the locker room for the entire second half for having a poor attitude and not playing with effort.

I mean, that isnt going to go away. He has always had a bad attitude....Shit, he was a Kelvin Sampson recruit, they are all pretty shady kids :D:D

Now, he is a great kid in regards to what I was talking about. But just like Jamarcus Ellis, Jordan Crawford, Eli Holman, etc Armon Bassett will have his character issues.
