just heard this...but, reportedly it was initiated by him (though that is always hard to tell), and he left $800,000 of his contract still on the table as he walked out the door.

It's been a terrible past couple of years for UT men's basketball. Hopefully they can change things around soon because it's just flat out embarrassing to go 4-28 and not win a road game in 3 SEASONS.
