We did a lot of similar stuff from the first scene. we'd leave our own booby trapped mortars laying around for the insurgents to pick up and use only to blow themselves up. unfortunately the humanitarian type people didnt like that.

That is a visual litany of reasons to not be a jihadist. At least be smart enough to realize the desert is not your friend, go to the mountains like bin Laden did. Open, flat areas are just inviting you to die before you realize it.
One thing that keeps me feeling safe is the thought that it took ten years from the time the stealth bomber was first flown to the time it was unveiled to the public. That would mean the bring new stuff the development people are saying "Wow!" to tomorrow (well, after Christmas), we won't get to say "Wow!" to until 2020. This also means the stuff they're showing to us is yesterday's news to them and it's essentially older technology.
