I hope the overpaid idiots in the NFL can figure it out. I'd move his monster ass to fullback, and let him kill people like Mike Alstott did for about 10 years. He's built to be a FB or Hback in the NFL. What people are forgetting is that he wasn't one of the best passing QB's in the country when he was in HIGH SCHOOL. He wasn't one of the best passing QB's in COLLEGE. He's NOT going to be a good passing QB in the pros either. He played in a system in HS and in college, that allowed him to use his best asset. He's not going to be able to run that system in the pros because A) nobody runs that system B) he's not talented enough of a QB to build your offense around (ala Peyton Manning) and C) defenses would kill him in about 4 years in the leage as a running QB. Give him the ball in short yardage, and let him lead block for you. I don't know why everyone but the people who NEED to realize this, can see that he is a fullback/Hback who has played QB up until now. I think he could be a hell of a fullback in the pros. Sadly, the more he beats this same drum, the further and further and further his draft stock falls. We have a month before the draft, and if he keeps this pace, he might be an undrafted free agent.

When talking about Tim, you should address him as 2 time National Champion, Heisman Trophy winning, one of the best, if not the best, college quarterbacks of all time.

Yup, he is certainly one of, if not the best "system" QB to ever play.

I'm not gonna bust on Tebow over the Wonderlic, basically because I know Pryor is going to have to take the test.

What are the questions like?

Some of the questions on that test appear to be so easy that I am sure the answers are just glossed over. The test takers don't take the time to fully understand what the real question is.

But you are right CC these are supposed college grads. They should know how to take a test.

You've taken the test too, is there any other feasible reason to recieve a low score like that? If you read and understand the questions they aren't that difficult. That is why I contend that some of the answers are glossed over, or are worded in such a way these guys don't understand what is really being asked.

They give the wonderlic for a lot of different professions, I'm not sure if it is the same test or if it is different for each profession. My daughter had to take it for a marketing job. I've taken it and and for the life of me I can't recall why. You have a very small amount of time to answer each question, I can't remember how much it is but I'm thinking less than 30 seconds.

What an athlete does in the heat of the moment in a game can't be measured by a test you take on paper. I think Tebow's instincts are pretty good. You don't pick a quarterback for his test scores, you pick him becauses he would be a good man to go to war with. I still think that he will be fine doing his thing in the NFL. I don't think it's a sign he can't play if the pros try him at another position. I just don't think he'll have to do that.

I often wonder the very same thing, ccrunner609, when I look at the OGT Test and continually question how that test can evaluate anything close to a student's academic capabilities. I would answer your question by saying that there are tests of many kinds that don't do anything valuable for the takers. Therefore I can only surmise that someone is making money and wants to continue making money and has the ear of someone more influential than you or I. I still maintain that a test on paper to ascertain a player's capability on the football field is a pipe dream. How much does it cost to take this test? Can anyone take it? Can a stage father or mother insist that their son or daughter take it? I can see a virtual goldmine here.
