Memphis is a decent team, but really, Cavs were down 20 to the Pistons earlier this year. Shit happens during the regular season.

Boston will be around the 5 or 6 seed in the eastern Conference. I said this 2 months ago.

Nets up 15 on the Mavs. Mavs have won 12 straight. Nets have won 12 of their last 77.

Good for you. We don't care what you've been saying. We all know Boston is old...

The Celtics are definitely getting old. They can't dominate like they once did. I still would be careful around them. They have a lot of pride and tradition, even if youth isn't one of their advantages any more.

Let me fill you all in on what september63 is all about, he likes more to slam on other teams and to stir shit, than he likes to talk about his own team. At ALL levels in ALL sports. He's the Eddie Haskel of this site.

Boston got their asses handed to them.. It's not just this game that would worry me as a Boston fan, it's their body of work since the All Star break... Well, really starting a week or so before the break.. They haven't been playing well at all.

THIS!

Momma always said be-careful what you ask for. The Celtics can still beat any team in the NBA on any night.

The Celtics are dead as a Title contender. If they want to perform at a high level as a team they need Rondo and Allen to take the reigns and lead the team. Rondo isn't willing to do that and is still far too tentative to be the leader of KG, Pierce and Co. Allen isn't capable of being the man and a leader at the same time. He plays at a higher level when he is able to defer to other people to lead the team and he can focus on just playing the game. But KG and Pierce are falling apart before our eyes and can't physically do what it takes to make this team a champion.

They can beat any team on any night. But they can't beat any of the elite teams 4 nights out of 7

Good point. I still wouldn't sleep on them though.

Yes, they can beat any team on any given night--but I'm not sold on them being able to beat ANYONE in 4 of 7 nights.

Not sleeping on them, but the past means jack shit, I'm not going to give them respect they don't deserve. They are dead as a title contender. Their smartest move would have been scrapping the roster and setting up for FA before the deadline.

I honestly feel if they have to play Toronto in the 1st round, that Toronto could and probably would beat them..

Chris Bosh would abuse their front line with his speed and athleticism.. Then they have athletic wing spots that would eat PP and Jesus up on the wing..

The only mismatch Boston would have would be rondo over Jack, but Jack is not one to back down.. He's definitely a poor mans Chauncey Billups, in a way that their games are similar, but he's just not as good..(consistently)

Yeah. I think he's going to be a late bloomer--just wait, Jack will be a good player some day. He's always been pretty good and he was sick in college. Seems to always improve, I like his game.

If Boston draws Toronto in round 1 stick a fork in them.

I believe Pierce is back. I agree about Toronto though. If they get back to being completely healthy at playoff time I definately look for them to advance to the second round. To me Toronto could be the surprise team in the East, not the Bobcats, like ESPN's Skip Bayless tries to say. Bayless is an idiot.

The Celtics may not be where they were last year, but they are still solid. I'd say you'll get a more accurate picture of them during the playoffs. I kind see the Celtics sandbagging a bit during the season to save it for the playoffs.

The celtics will get bounced in the first round.
