Im hoping for Kolb! I think he can be effective, even more than McNabb (plus the age thing), in the WCO.

What has Kolb done soo much that proves he will do something as a starter? A couple of games does not mean anything.

Agreed. Kolb played well in a pretty stacked offense. I think wherever he goes he'll struggle out the gate just like Cassell did.

I'd rather draft someone than trade for Kolb. Is he proven? No.

But let's be honest here, if we can swap Quinn and a terrible draft pick for Kolb, sure why not.

why do they need to trade for another QB when they just acquired Seneca Wallace?

No unproven commodity has ever done anything that proves he will be something, that's why you go for someone like him, so you don't have to give up a lot and hope he will pan out.

But if you really wanted to answer your question, he did set a record for most consecutive 300+ yard passing games to start a career.

Cleveland fans really need to give up the idea of them getting Kolb. Phili will not let him go. He is their future. McNabb maybe, Kolb no.

Yea I'm not sure why people think the Eagles are willing to shop Kolb. They seem to really like him, and it's the only reason why McNabb was mentioned in trade rumors. Would they trade him if the price is right? I'm sure they would. But they have zero need for Brady Quinn.

I just don't understand why anyone out there would have any desire at all for Quinn.

LOL @ Browns fans doubting Kolb when the Eagles think he's the future of their franchise...but they probably don't know what they're talking about......

We agree for once. No way the Eagles trade Kolb. Especially for any deal that includes Quinn. Just because we now have Heckert, it doesn't mean they got Phil Savage.

I guess if they are so confident in Kolb, why not start the "Kevin Kolb era" now?

Because you have McNabb and you run that out as long as you can.

Not if you can get good value in a trade before he walks for nothing next year.

Maybe they should get Michael Vick from Philly. That would put a whole new meaning into the Dawg Pound.

I remember laughing my ass off when I first heard that. I think it was sometime around his reinstatement into the NFL last year.

As far as Quinn goes, if I can get a 4th rounder for him I do it in a NY Minute, turn around and sign Seahawks guard Rob Sims to an offer sheet. The compensation for Sims would be a 4th rounder. We'd have the two run blocking maulers in Sims & Pashos on the right side, Pork Chop for depth and send John St. Turnstile packing.

If not, I send Quinn plus a later round pick to Carolina (who wants him) for RFA CB Richard Marshall who is currently tendered at the 2nd round level.

That is a move only Al Davis would make. And be sure, he would make it.

Last year the Eagles had 4 QB's who would have all been upgrades over the Browns, McNabb, Kolb, Vick and Garcia.

I still think Vick will be released unless they trade McNabb and whoever gets him, gets him for free. Philly is a smart organization and there's no way they enter this season paying a non-productive THIRD string QB $5.5 million.

Right now, as is, there is NO market for Vick (with his pricetag). There will be a market if he's a free agent.

Three, Vick would have been equally bad.

Vick would have at least brought some interest and a few highlights. Quinn was absolutely boring.

And I do disagree that Vick would have been equally bad. He has had some success in the NFL and although he didn't play much last year, he did show that he stills belongs.
