Since the 1996-97 season, here is the list of the most 30+, 5+ and 5+ games in the NBA:

1. LeBron James 161
2. Kobe Bryant 124
3. Allen Iverson 103

That is just flat out ridiculous. That's since Kobe's rookie season, LeBron didn't enter the league until the 03-04 season obviously.

LeBron should've won the MVP two years ago (when Kobe won it). Lebron averaged something like 30 ppg, 8 rpg, and 7 apg, but everyone felt bad for Kobe not having an MVP yet.

And everyone knew he wouldn't get a real shot to win another one as long as LeBron was in the league. ;)

That stat really is phenomenal when you think about it.

By the way, this is regular season only. I can look up the post season numbers if anyone is interested.

But 95 of those 124 for Kobe have been since LeBron's rookie year. Basically, Kobe's prime. So if that was Kobe's prime, what is LeBron's going to be?!

Knowing Kobe's is great, what about those stats compared to Jordan?

Statistically, it won't get much better. His averages will remain pretty much the same the rest of his career. Which is saying something for how great he has been playing and has played.

I disagree. I don't think LeBron has hit his peak statistically yet. I think he'll still shoot a higher percentage from the field some day than he does now--and his attempts won't go down, points will go up. Depending on his teammates and the role he needs to play on whatever team he's on, his other numbers could go up as well. I don't think he's hit his prime yet.

Too be fair though, Kobe got gipped by Steve Nash, so I don't really mind it. It's not like Lebron won't finish his career with 5-7 MVP's, and then some finals MVPs on top of that.

Yes, Kobe most certainly did get screwed out of at least one MVP.

I think LBJ's assists and rebounds will stay the same but I see his PPG getting higher. I mean, everyone was talking about how Lebron didn't have a jumpshot a few years ago. Now he is becoming killer. I bet we see LBJ average 35+ppg in a season in the future.

I definitely agree with him not in his prime yet.

Points might go up, but rebounds won't and honestly, I don't think assists will either.

Like I said, that's all saying something about how great he has been/is right now.

It's really hard to say how much better it could be, so much depends on supporting cast and what he's required to do given the circumstances. On a bad team having yet to reach his prime those numbers could be easily eclipsed.

Assists won't go up on a bad team...

Depends on position. When he played point for the Cavs he was hitting 15 assists, he could bump that up some I think, even on a sketchy squad.

I agree that Kobe got gipped by Steve Nash...

But the year Kobe won LBJ could have won (not saying it's an absolutely he should of, but he definitely could of but they wanted to give Kobe one).

Saw that on SC as well. That is a crazy impressive stat for LBJ.
