So, what are some of the freehuddlers favorite mixed drinks/ cocktails? I love my bourbon neat, but some of my favorites:

The Old fashioned. Madmen got me into this drink. It is:
In a small glass, mixed a sugar cube with bitters and orange peel.
Muddle it into into a syrup.
Add ice, then bourbon.
Stir and garish with a cherry/ orange peel.

Another one of my favorites is the Manhatten
In a glass pour Bourbon with Ice
Add Sweet Vermouth
Dash of bitters
Stir
Add cherry

Extra spicy bloody mary with grey goose, pickle spear and olives.

Maker's Mahattan, straight up....generally speaking I'll take any somewhat high level bourbon/whisky. I've recently become partial to Knob Creek but I'll take Maker's any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Yes, you helped! We had to borrow a pan from your parents because mine weren't big enough! Mmm that was definitely amazing. I want to make it again soon!

Double bourbon (Knob Creek preferrably...no Jim Beam) and coke. Basically I like it with just a hint of coke. Most people can't stand to drink them.

Let's do shots too they're more fun...cherry bomb, jager bomb, washington apple, flaming dr. pepper, soco and lime, girl scout cookie, tiramisu (I made it up one night wasted and it was really good..the bar started selling it), woo woo's....uhhh I feel like there's more I'm forgetting. If I can get half of these in on a night...it's going to be a good one.

I'm still partial to a good ol' Bloody Mary. Nothing better in the morning after a rough nite.

The Wife loves Gin and Tonics, actually Tanqueray and tonics. Which I'm not all into. She's in Colorado and just bought some homemade Gin called Jackalope from an independant distiller. Now that I will drink with some tonic...or by itself.

If I drink anything other than beer, I usually just mix Jim Beam with a shot glass (shot glass optional) or Jagermeister with my slowly failing liver. Usually those are the nights I end up peeing into the fireplace. Good times man...good times....
