Has anyone used this software to use your Blackberry as a high speed modem? It is a one time fee for the software rather than pay the monthly fee from your provider for tethering.
I believe it used to be called Tetherberry and there is another program called Mobishark that is supposed to be similar.

Too bad you don't have a Droid because tethering is "free", well it is as long as they don't catch you!
I realize this does not help you with your problem

That is my problem, I used to tether for free from my Blackberry and apparently they caught me because I no longer can.

I just pay the monthly fee. However, I've got a grandfathered plan that costs me half what it costs people now.
Using it right now, as a matter of fact.

I believe the key to doin it and not getting caught is how much data you are using. There are usual limits a regular fone can typically do, and what a smart fone can do. To my knowledge that is how they typically bust people for it.
