Congras to Filandus Boyd of Marion Frfanklin. He finished 4th at 112 as a senior. His career Record is 138 - 25. He is a 2 time state qualifier and the winningest wrestler in Marion Franklin history. I am proud of him.

As a former City League wrestler, I say thank you to Boyd and Coach Oney for showing how good our wrestlers are without the benefit of youth programs and Middle School wrestling.
Awesome job.

Robert Sessley (BE) was champ. The next in line was Ron Goins (MF) was 2nd and 4th. Curtis Mcghee(BH) was 6th. Amhad Sanders (BH) was 5th Von Grahm (MF) Was 6th
This is the latest of Course. I know that East Had a champ in the early 70's

Great job Flea!
The best part of the state tournament for me was walking by when a reporter asked Coach Oney why the call Filandus "Flea"...the response made me laugh even after a loss.
Reporter: Why do you call him Flea?
Oney: His name is FILANDUS no one wants to say that. It happened on day 2 of practice.
The way he said it was funny...the reporter even chuckled as he wrote it down.
