Almost(if not every) new stadium in the last 7 years or so has hosted one, even Pittsburgh. I think it's a joke that MLB hasn't come to Cincy for the ASG since GABP opened.

22 teams have hosted it since Cincinnati. I fear it will be a long time until Cincinnati will get a chance to host it.

Lately, MLB has been using the all-star game as a forum to showcase new stadiums. For some reason, they skipped GABP before. Currently GABP is six years old. There are other new stadiums on the horizon. There's a chance the stadium will be 15-20 years old when Cincinnati finally gets the shot to host the games again.

Been waiting for them to get one, it seems like every other new ballpark in the league has gotten one rather quickly upon opening

It's been over 20 years since Cincinnati has hosted the AS game which IMO is a travesty. The oldest pro team deserves more recognition than once every 25 years. Especially considering they built a new stadium.

I would definitely try to get tickets for that.
