Locks:
Syracuse
West Virginia
Villanova
Pittsburgh
Georgetown
Marquette
Near-locks following today's wins:
Louisville
Notre Dame
Bubble but not looking good:
Connecticut
South Florida
Seton Hall
I think they get 8 teams in the Big Dance.

I say 7 with ND not getting in. They need to win one more I think, but will lose their first game in the BE tourney.

I saw a stat the other day that showed that only 3 teams out of 120+ with 20 overall wins and 10 wins in conference play in Big East history have missed the NCAA tournament. They're pretty much a lock. And with wins over Pitt, G'town, WVU and Marquette this season while posting a 21-10, 10-8 conference record....they should be.

8 bids for the Big East, and it's pretty clear cut.
Syracuse
West Virginia
Villanova
Pittsburgh
Georgetown
Louisville
Marquette
Notre Dame
Connecticut, Cincinnati, South Florida and Seton Hall were all in NCAA discussions, but none have gotten it done.

8. I dont know HOW THE FUCK Notre Dame got it done. But kudos to Coach Brey and the Irish. They really came through down the stretch.

UC was totally embarrasssed today. I am afraid it will not get any better for the basketball program anytime soon--- AD Mike Thomas announced yesterday that Mick Cronin will be back for next season!
Sigh... really miss the good old days of top 10 rankings. During my time there UC went to the Final Four, Elite Eight and a sweet sixteen.

I believe that the BE will get the 8 teams that Rock has on his list.
