Looking at some trips on BookIt.com and was wondering if anyone knew of some good places to stay and some places to avoid?

Any other places in Mexico that are better for a reasonable price. BookIt is giving us some deals around $900 a person all inclusive.

Any info would be nice! Thanks!

Went to PV last September, loved it. Stayed at Dreams Villamagna, all inclusive it was killer. Heading to Cancun this coming Sept.

It was a beautiful place, 6 of us went and loved it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Dream's resorts there.

applevacations.com for PV last year through a travel agent that is a personal friend of a person that went with us so we got the agency discount. Did the same thing this year for Cancun through deltavacations.com.

yes it is, i went there my senior year for spring break, best time of my life

I stayed at the Gran Bahia Principe which I thought was very nice, all inclusive

Some of my friends had gone the year before with their families and stayed at the Grand Palladium and still had a great time, but thought the Gran Bahia Principe was better...the Palladium was all inclusive as well....so much to do in the area, jet ski, deep sea fish, snorkel, scuba, ATV in the rainforest, Zip line through the rainforest...i really suggest considering or checking this out

and because its all inclusive, you can get wasted whenever you please

edit: through kayak.com...gran bahia principe was $1750 for two guests and one room, so that is about 875 a person!

Can anyone give some more info of things to do there. I will be heading there in late May and have never been before and don't know much about the area. We got an awesome timeshare we will be staying in for free from my Girlfriends parents who bought it recently but are unable to go this year. My girlfriend loves to scuba dive any recommendations on that or other activites.

We really hung at the resort most of the time. We went to town one day so the ladies could shop and have some lunch outside the resort. We went to a dinner show out in the jungle that was pretty cool. But the 6 of us were there to drink and get away from reality. We spent most of our time getting drunk at the pools and the beach then piling into the hottub for fun and eating sushi at night!!

I went there a few days ago (I stayed at the Dreams just lab Fab). There is a lot to do away from the resort, but the Dreams resort is pretty remarkable. It has a private beach, a couple pools (including a swim up bar), several restaurants, etc.

Off the resort there are a lot of activities. You can make arrangement at the hotel. When my wife and I were there we went Zip Lining in the Rain Forest. It was a total blast. You can also go horse back riding, whale watching, scuba diving, etc. If the tour thing is not your gig, there is the city a few miles away from the resort. There is a market area and many shops to choose from. Unlike in the US, you can barter for items. You really can get stuff really cheap if you are a shrewd negotiator.

I was afraid of that^^^^^^^^
I am leaning toward Myrtle Beach thinking it might be a little cooler.
