Northmor has a wrestling room that is very accessible. One doesn't have to wander into the school. Our wrestling room is in the Activity Center which is located just off the school driveway. We have plenty of mat space and are happy to share it with anyone who cares to join us on Monday nights. It seems like a small price to pay for a winter full of victories.

Next year has started. If you want to better yourself for 2010-11 start making a plan. Without that roadmap you'll just be wandering aimlessly.

Tomorrow night, we open our club. This is a Freestyle/Greco club. For those of you who have never done it before, we will start out by explaining some rules and concepts, and then start teaching you how to transition from folkstyle to freestyle. I will teach you how to turn your basic leg attacks into points in freestyle. This is always a fun session, there are some really cool techniques in there that you will like. So come tomorrow, have a good time and we'll have a great session.

We had a very strong start on Monday. For those of you who haven't yet signed up, there's still time. We have 9 more sessions and lots more fun to be had! Exciting freestyle greco technique taught every night, and a short review of previous weeks to help you learn and remember technique. Come next Monday and give it a try, if you haven't already.

We are here again tonight and we will be teaching some really cool turns from top. Last week, we went into arm throws, and the all-important over-under position. I worked with the athletes to correct what a large majority of kids do wrong from this position, and taught the club how to position and move so you 1. don't get thrown, and 2. score on the opponent.

You folks who are in the Northmor area and not attending - you are really missing out. You need to consider coming and getting the best freestyle/greco training that is available in your area.

See you tonight!

Last week at the club, I taught the athletes some of my favorite quick turns, and we also reviewed the over-under position from the previous week. Tomorrow (Monday) night, we will be at Northmor teaching something new and exciting - maybe some more upper body wrestling, or possibly a few more nice turns from the ground (par terre).

Come over and join us we actually train you so you can utilize the excellent technique taught here - unlike some places that just show technique and you never see it again, and never train to excel from the position.

You guys in the Northmor area - this is the best freestyle/greco training opportunity in your area. Don't miss out!
