Dear Facebook:

I. Don't. Care.

Dear Farmville users:

Do something about all the damn animals that apparently get lost in your virtual agriworld. Better controls, virtual fences, or virtual shotguns or something. Sheesh.

I am so glad I deleted facebook 3 years ago. It was fun when I was in college and my friends had it, but when the young kids got it an people parents got it I said enough. I don't want everybodys mom and dad looking at pictures of me grinding on some chick or beer bonging beer. (Although I'm sure they still do I just don't know about it)

I couldn't agree more. There is actually a group called something like "I don't care about your farm or your fish or your park or your mafia" which I think is hilarious. Please don't ask me because I DON'T PLAY!!!

I did block all those applications for Farmville, Fishworld, etc. on my laptop, but I can't block them on my Blackberry. I also get the requests in my email when someone sends me a direct request. People that keep doing that, get unfriended.

Yeah, there are some serious issues in Farmville with random livestock. Pretty soon we're gonna start seeing "Angelina Jolie found a lost asian child on their farm. Oh no!" or something of the sort.

Go to a post in your News Feed that contains an update from a friend on a Facebook online game. For instance, go to a FarmVille update.

Hover your mouse pointer over the update. You will notice that the word "Hide" and a small arrow appears in the upper right-hand corner of the message. Click on the arrow.

A small drop down box will appear giving you the choice to Hide this friend, or just "Hide FarmVille". Let's say you really like this friend, but you just don't want to know every time they lose a cow or plant more corn, so click on "Hide FarmVille".

You will see a message where the FarmVille post used to be that says, "Farmville has been hidden from your News Feed. In the future, you won't see posts from FarmVille."

There, you've done it! You've removed all present and future FarmVille posts from your well-meaning friends. And of course, this works for any Facebook Online Game that you don't want to hear about anymore - Enjoy!

The worst part is now there are instances of this shit people can become "fans of"... even if you blocked the app, this stuff is going to come through.

So, you get 15 messages a day that some has become a fan of "ZOMG JOIN HERE TO GET A FREE ROFLCOMBINE TO WORK THE FIELDS IN YOUR FARM, NO JOKE!"

Why don't you just block the Farmville application?
