I just heard on Cowherd that OSU is a major darkhorse pick with a lot of analysts and media to go DEEP in the tourny. Of Course, you would have to be a huge homer to think this! (Sarcasm)

But, but.....Cowherd and the media in general HATE Ohio State!!!

When you have the front runner for National POY you are not a darkhorse. OSU snuck up on some people this year, but they are a top 7 team right now with one of the best players in the country.

And if a tournament setting, I always like my chances when you have the best player on the court.

I have rarely heard OSU mentioned unless it was about ET.

ESPN has had the collective majority of their heads shoved so far up UK, KU, WVU, Nova, 'Cuse's assess that I didn't think they remembered other schools existed. Cowherd is talking out of his ass too, I haven't seen anyone call OSU their 'dark horse'. I suppose they may be a dark horse to the old lady down the street who hasn't watched basketball all season. How could a team like Ohio State sneak up on people?

Oh wait, OSU plays on the ESPN family of networks tonight, they are just plugging their own game, again.

I think those asses are worthy of having heads stuck up them. Those are some of the best teams in the country so of course they get a ton of pub. What's the problem with that?

There is nothing wrong with talking about those teams. One of those will win the national championship. But there are a lot more interesting college basketball stories going on other than those teams.

You are talking about the mainstream media CinciX12. Since when have they EVER covered anything except for the big names, big ratings drawers, etc...? It's true in every sport.

Well put and Agree completely. OSU is 20-0 this year when leading at the 5 min mark. Why? Simply put, Turner. The guy can do his thing when he wants and when needed down the stretch. He isn't selfish, and can create a shot of his own, and for his teammates.
And actually, its a credit to Matta as well...I believe his teams at OSU are something like 55-3 when leading at the 5 min mark.

Cowherd doesn't hate OSU. He was one of the few that picked the Rose Bowl victory...

The rest of the media however...
