I've heard some rumors that the Cavs were looking at Iverson...

I hope not.

^^^^^I agree, bad deal for any team. You would think someone near the end of their career would want to go out with a championship, guess not! lol

Let's go Cavs. Pick him up. We need another scorer.

I hate to say it but if AI could survive on any team it would be with leaders like Kobe or LeBron.

AI would get his points because LeBron is unselfish.

But Cleveland will not go hard for AI.

I'm a Piston's fan and trust me, you don't want Iverson. Now, if you can swing a deal for Chauncey Billups, I'd jump at that possibility.

Rumor on ESPN is the Knicks are looking to acquire Iverson. Stupid, but they are the Knicks for a reason.

He might actually be able to help the Knicks, and would at least build some excitement for a week or two.

My Knicks are awful and still will be with AI. I understand the move from a business standpoint as it will generate some interest and the jersey sales and attendance should get a boost.

From what I heard, Boston is also slightly looking at Iverson. We don't have a true PG off the bench with just House and Daniels. If AI could come off of ANY bench in the league I'd say Boston could be it with all the veterans we already have on our team. KG and Co. were able to keep Marbury in check the whole time he was in Boston last year. I'm not saying I'd support the move but I wouldn't be surprised if Danny Ainge made this move.

AI isn't a true PG... at all. I mean I probably don't watch the NBA as much as you, but from everything I've seen AI is not a good PG at all. Too often the ball dies in his hands, and he really isn't a team player. Maybe they can whip him into shape in Boston though

I don't think he can honestly help any team at this point in his career. He wants to start and there are very few situations where he would start.

I agree, I don't think he improves any team. But he could certainly generate some money for a team that is struggling with attendance and merchandise sales.

If he was willing to play a support role, he would be worth some $$$ but until he realizes he is closer to retirement than being a starter, it won't happen.

Iverson still wants to be the man, no contender will want to mess up team chemistry. A team like the Knicks will pick him up for a year. They need something
