This was the average number of fans for the Indians home games last season.
Will they see that number drop even lower this season?

No way do they hit that number, in fact, I bet they draw less than 20g a game.

I hope they average 8k a game and are forced to do dime-a-beer night during a home game against the Rangers.

I don't know how they got that many. It will be much lower this season. Last year the fans had some hope early when they bought season tickets (why I don't know), but this season they have none. I would guess 15,000 per game as the average.

wow, so they aren't even filling half of the stadium. That's sad. I guess that's what happens when you trade away all your good players every couple of years. Constant rebuilding mode doesn't work lol.

No way do they come close to that number unless the team actually starts to win (can't see it under the rosiest of scenarios).
I'm curious how many season tickets holders dropped their plans. We waivered up to the last moment in keeping ours before renewing.....and even that was with the caveat that "well, let's see ...one more year". I know at least 2 groups that threw theirs in.

I will give NCF some credit here...last year amidst all the tradfing and tearing the team apart, he called it a "return to the '70's", and I think that is spot on. I don't see how you break the downward cycle that now envelopes the organization. How do you build a championship team if you can't afford to even pay modest salaries? The answer is you can't. I consider myself a diehard...and they've pretty well lost me. Basically, we are keeping our plan 'cause we just like to watch baseball...but the enthusiasm for the Indians as a winning organization is gone.

Maybe the Dolan's will get the message after seeing The Prog less than half full for most games except for the Yankees and Red Sox series.

I wasn't planning on spending any money on the Tribe this season (just like last year) and then my stupid brother decides he wants to go to a game for his birthday. Now I'm paying $20 to watch this disaster, ugh.
