Good showing for the city boys this weekend. Boyd got screwed on his draw though. But you want to be the best then you'll have to wrestle them sooner or laater. He should do just fine.

Good Job men, all the guys wrestled hard.
State tourny needs to be expected out of city league guys.
Boyd is going to be fine. If he makes it to the second round, his dream will come true. He has wanted to wrestled Mines all year....You gotta love the competitors!!

Once you get to this level every match is a tough match, but also every match is winnable! Good luck city league boys! Go get em! Don't be happy with just getting there!

Congrats to these guys as well...although I will be a little happy when Boyd graduates and quits beating my kids every year (seems like he has been beating my kids for at least 12 years now!).

lol. I think between him and Kenny Palmer the Red Devils have had it seems like a super tough lower weight for 8 years! lol!

I think Kenny Palmer was probably one of the best kids that never qualified for the state tourney.

Palmer was a tough SOB. I have been super luck to have kids like Palmer, Ryman, Boyd, Caldwell, and Nicholson. It has been very enjoyable. hopefully I can get this last one (Boyd) on the podium...

lol. I think boyd gets podium. I think top 4. He is very tough and will give mines all he can handle.
