"We knew Ohio State was easy.... just like your women". Steiner got some serious heat that night just by playing off the college rivalry.

God I miss those days. Great to hear Bobby the Brain and Tony Schiavone calling the action.

That video was from WCW Nitro back in 2000. WCW was the alternative to the WWE back in the day. At one point it actually exceeded WWE in the ratings, but later fell by the wayside. WWE own Vince McMahon eventually acquired them.

I remember drinking at Howl at the Moon downtown in the mid/late 90s, and when those piano guys played the Michigan fight song, it would intice such outrage, dozens of people would throw $1 and $5 bills just to make him stop. I miss that rivalry, beating UM every year is great, but Michigan weekend isn't quite the same anymore. Granted, I will take a W every year, just saying ...

I cannot help but laugh every time I watch him almost trip over Brutus at the 10 second mark.

I believe this was one of only a handful times WCW brought Nitro to Columbus.

I do remember going to Thunder at the Convention Center when Hogan and Macho Man were having one of their 995 WCW feuds.

I would've gotten up and laid out big poppa pump out riding in on DX's tank. Then Mark Coleman would've come out with DX behind him and would've beaten Steiner to a pulp as I irish jigged on his face while leading the crowd in a moving rendition of "We Don't Give a Damn For the Whole State of Michigan".

Not to mention that Brutus imitation was terrible. The guy has a $10 Brutus mask, a striped shirt, and jeans. lol

Assults? WTF is that?
I'm pretty sure he assaulted the guy dressed in the cheap Brutus outfit.

LOL, at Bobby Heenan @ 3:30 in the clip.
"That guy asked for it though."

WCW never got that whole "acting" thing down that well.

Psshhhh, he probably would've tore a bicep trying to come after me. I'm not afraid of anyone that's bad/old enough to be in TNA

I always preferred Rick over Scott Steiner, particularly Rick Steiner from the late 80's to early 90's (before he got fat). Here is a clip of him wrestling some fish. Rick was great because he played the stupid/crazy angle so well (well maybe he didn't have to play the part at all).
