Who have the Hokies beaten that makes them a tournament team?? Their pre-conference schedule was bad and they just got pounded by BC.

Not sure if they are "worthy," but if they can get up to 10 wins in the ACC they will get in. If they do get in I think they are one and done, no way they make it to the Sweet 16. Would rather see someone like Murray State get in over them, if Murray State should happen to lose in their conference tournament.

It looks like an ACC record of 9-7 or worse is a real possibility. VT plays Maryland on Saturday, followed by a home game with N.C.State, and an away game versus Georgia Tech. I would bet they lose two of these games and three losses is not a long shot.

SHOULD beat NC State, the other two are iffy at best, though they do have Maryland at home. Not sure 9-7 will get them in, probably would have to get to the semis of the ACC Tournament.

At this point in the season I would say they are, but a lot can change between now and selection Sunday.
