Gophers up 8 w/ 8:04 left... Robbie Hummel left with a injury in the 1st half and has not returned

Bob Baptist reporting on his twitter a possible torn ACL for Hummel...yikes.

Purdue also down in the 2nd half, which the Buckeyes need.

Wow. Losing Hummel would really be awful for the Boilermakers. There goes that potential #1 seed that some of the experts were projecting.

Oh well. I guess we (Ohio State) have to root for Michigan State now to get a share of the Big Ten title.

Pretty good response from the Boilers after losing Hummel. If he's gone for the year, it'll hurt them in the eyes of the selection committee for sure. It'll be interesting to see how they respond to the adversity down the stretch.

Was on crutches at the end of the game in his warm ups. He was not moving too well on it, obviously, but no other updates were given.

Bad news for the Buckeyes with the outcome of this game, but even worse news for Purdue with the potential loss of Hummel. I would absolutely hate to see this happen to such a classy player and a great team. Best of wishes to Hummel on a speedy recovery!

All we can do is pray that MSU comes out and plays some good ball on Sunday at Purdue....
Purdue handled the Spartans about 2 1/2 weeks ago by 12....

The Buckeyes just need to worry about taking care of there own business...

Great finish to this game. Both teams had answers..unfortunately, Purdue had the last answer.

Purdue did beat MSU @ MSU...but MSU was without Lucas this game. Now Purdue is without Hummel...should be interesting. Could end in a three way tie if MSU can pull it out.
Remaining schedules:
MSU
@ Purdue
home vs PSU
home vs UM

Purdue:
home vs MSU
home vs IU
