Is one better for you than the other? I want to give up Pepsi, but I do have a sweet tooth for my drinks, I know the Kool Aid is where you add the sugar.
I know neither is better, but if I / You had to choose which would be better for you?

Kool Aide....slowly lower the amount of sugar you make it with so you lose that acquired taste for sugar.

Kool-Aid has less sugar than Pepsi - I don't think it's really fair to say which is better for you, because neither has particularly redeeming qualities as a source of nutrition. That's not to say they aren't tasty.

The acids in carbonated anything are very, very bad for your teeth, sugar not withstanding.
