New UC Coach Butch Jones has indciated a new theme for this season will be Reprsenting the C. This means on the field, in the classrooms and in the community. Someone put together a nice video from last year to show the team was already "Representing the C". The video really got me pumped and excited for next season.

By "representing the C" you mean getting BLOWN out in bowl games, or forever and always being second fiddle to big daddy year in, year out?

I liked it.

But, my god, can't Cincy come up with better stuff than "Who Dey" and "Representing the C?"

I have more affiliation with UC/the Cincy area than i do Columbus, despite what my username might say, and OH-IO is 10x better than "Representing the C."

But still, UC fans should be excited about the season and the video is sweet.

I kind of like it... but only because Cincinnati is so different than the rest of Ohio. Our players represent the city not the State.

Yeah, I like Represent the C. Even though Butch Jones used the same same slogan while coaching at CMU, it certainly is a branding that just fits right for not only the University of Cincinnat but the city as well. The slogan wouldn't work for OSU, Kent, BG, Miami or some others.

It's funny you mention that. When I was at the Sugar Bowl I was sitting by a Florida fan who I struck up a conversation with. He compared UC's cheer "Down the Drive" (the OHH, OHHH, OHHH, clap clap clap clap U-C cheer) to the OH-IO. He basically they were the same to him (annoying), laughed and commented it must be a mid-western thing.

Danny now you have me watching all the UC videos on Youtube haha. I'm so pumped for this fall. Especially the Oklahoma game. Look for UC to make a BIG splash early next season.

I can't wait for the season either Goosebumps. This video was unreal. I posted it over here because I realize the majority of the posters on here have no rooting allegiance to UC and have not watched them much at all. I think it encapsulates a lot of the highlights from last year and shows there are some good things happening down there. UC football is an exciting team to watch. I really liked some of the clips at the end from New Orleans. Who says UC does not bring fans to the bowl games. Their were approximately 30,000 UC fans in attendance. We outdrew Florida. The outcome of the game was a shame, but UC will take their lumps just like everyone else.

I'm exxcited about next year as well. We do bring a good chunk of the offense and I am excited to see what Vidal Hazelton can bring to this offense. I think the defense will be better running the 4-3, and hope there are some guys who step up big time.

Completely agree Danny. Our offense could very well outperform the 2009 version. We saw what Collaros did against Uconn... 555 total yards!!! Big East record. Think about all the great BE Qb's that never put up those kind of numbers. Not to mention He's a spitting image of lefaveur who under coach Jones set the record for most career Td's. This year could be absolutely explosive.

The C? So like The U except in Cincy instead of Coral Gables. It's not bad, just isn't incredibly original. It is nice to have some kind of call like that though to rally behind.

Another Ohio State idiot with a typical low class response. I believe this is a UC thread, so go away little man.

Bias aside. That is dumb, for what Krazie45 said, its not too terribly original..

And how can a UC fan call an OSU fan 'little man', as annoying as Sleeper is.

Those cheers are supposed to get under the crawl of the opponents and unite the fan base. As someone else noted, it is not any worse than OH-IO, or I-O-W-A, or my personal favorite from Purdue "Boiler Up". One thing I did not note earlier was after the guy from Florida told me our cheer was annoying I had to hear him break out into the "Go Gators" cheer over and over even after the game was clearly out of hand.

Charlie Harper--- just ignore Sleeper. He just gets on these threads and says stuff to agitate people. Half the time, I think he is actually mocking the lunatic fringe of OSU vs. mocking the subject of the thread.

I thought the Video was pretty cool....Don't get me wrong I am a Buckeye 1st.........But people in Ohio need to understand having 2 good teams in Ohio is a very good thing.....

Someone made a dumb comment about Cincy getting blown out in Bowl Games....Do I need to say anything about the Past 2 titles game that our Buckeyes played in....Yes we beat Oregon but come on....

I love seeing the Bearcats succeed....My sister an Athletic Trainer for the Bearcat football team....

Can't wait to see the Bearcats go for a 3rd Straight Big East Title....

Nice vid....I just hope their defense can step it up next year. That is what is seperating them from the elites.
