Might as well get a early jump on things.... Looks to be a pretty solid lineup...

First Match announced: Taker Vs. HBK ... "The Streak" vs. "HBK's Career"

I guess they are having a MITB Ladder Match since RAW is having a qualifying match right now. Christian Vs. Carlito

WrestleMania should be pretty solid this year since basically everyone in the company is healthy. Probably can add HHH vs Sheamus and CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio to the card at some point plus MITB (Thank God), a Womens/Divas title match, and hopefully a US or IC Title match. Can't forget Bret vs Vince as well. Should be a very decent show this year to make up for last years abomination.

I might have to purchase this one. I haven't seen one live since I accidentally bought WM21.

This is the only ppv that we buy anymore. I hate to say it but I don't want HBK to end the streak. It says he wants time off. I bet he'll lose than come back as the new Raw GM.

Wonder how many WM's it took for the creative team to realize that UT has never lost. Did it just sneak up on them one day, or was it their plan all along to have him be unbeaten at WM?

I don't really remember it being a hot topic until the build to his match with Flair (18?). I remember seeing it a few times as kind of a "fun fact" sort of thing on wrestling websites, but I don't remember WWE really latching onto it until then. I think he defeated Triple H the year before that, maybe for the title, but I don't really remember the build to that match.

I'll bet they just sort of figured it out while they were prepping

They really didn't use it in a storyline leading up to Mania until Wrestlemania 21 when he fought Orton. Since they it has been a part of the build for each match at Mania. They mentioned it before that but never made a big deal of it. And enigmaax, his match with HHH at 17 was not for the title, just a grudge match.

knight - Yeah, I should've thought a bit more about that. Would've been Austin-Rock for the title, right?

You do realize WWE is Fake. The interviews are funny.. But the actual wrestling or play fighting or whatever they are doing is sickening.

The same could be said for most of the pro teams in this state.

^^ I'm guessing MVP and Kofi will for sure get spots and then the last 2 are up in the air depending on what they end up doing with Miz/Big Show for Mania.

Not WM26 related but WWE sent out its well wishes on future endeavors to Hurricane Helms, Paul Burchill, Scott Armstrong(ref), and Maria. Celebrity Apprentice will look weird now with her saying she is a WWE Diva but when non-WWE fans go to Smackdown to look for her, she wont be there. They should have waited until the summer to ditch her. I think Helms and Armstrong will both to TNA in 90 days.

For those of you who have a facebook page, I recommend adding John Canton(not from Canton, from Toronto) He is the writer of "The John Report" that is shown on different sites. He writes reviews of Raw and Smackdown. There is a ton of discussion of wrestling on his page. He also posts the best comments left on his page about Raw in his review of Raw. I think the past 2-3 weeks he has averaged about 1600 comments during Raw alone. He's a good dude and certainly knows his wrestling and it helps that he is a great writer. I pretty much have stopped going to sites and just go to his facebook page because all of the news ends up there anyways.
