Congrats to JD! He went 3-0 in the competition.

WIN Eduardo Mesa (Cuba), 3-2, 7-2
WIN Johannes Kessel (Germany), 4-0, 4-0
WIN Oldrik Wagner (Germany), 2-0, 0-1, 3-0

I'm not too into international wrestling, were any of those opponents good; and does JD's shot at the 2012 London Olympics look good?

It's JD Bergman. His opponents could have been 6-time Olympic Gold medalists... He'd make them look like 4x sectional qualifiers!

Honestly, I have no clue...let me finish! I have no clue who the opponents were or how good they were. But I'm guessing if they showed up there to wrestle, they probably have some credentials.

Have some pizza, JD. You earned it.

i read somewhere hes ranked like 3rd in the world, some guy from china beat him but something was posted about china being sour about a previous match so they called a quick pin against him vs a china guy. i could be a little off on details but it went something like that. he is wrestling all over the world this next year as well as raising money for his training, if you have a chance support him, he very well could win the gold for usa in 2012!
