1. Boyd
2. Strope
3. Timchenko
4. Terry
5. McDougle
6. Longwell
i think the semifinal between Timchenko and Strope might end up being the best match of the Tournament...Timchenko is the biggest freshman i have ever seen! huge 112...
McDougle is underrated...looked great at WM, although i'm not sure how the competition was...either way he looked dominant...
2. Strope
3. Timchenko
4. Terry
5. McDougle
6. Longwell

I agree. McDougal is underrated and should not be overlooked. I also think the same thing about Longwell. Nothing is a given in this bracket.

Any 4 of the 6 mentioned can get to the Schott!
I think the Flea takes it with Strope 2nd.

Anyone that goes into districks overlooking opponents is dumb, to put it nicely. I have seen soo many kids "catch fire" during the district tournament and beat people that they aren't "supposed" to beat. Everyone is dangerous at this point of the season...

I think 119 is stellar and has been since the start of the season. Very deep.
I added an extra one just in case someone makes an excellent argument for a third weight class.
lowsingle: districks????????? Darn that Flea and his classmates.

BuzzBomb...If you don't mind me asking, what's the reasoning behind Terry slipping to #4? He's 29-4, only Boyd has fewer losses. He's one of three returning State qualifiers in the bracket and went 1-2at The Schott (just like Boyd and Strope). Is it a little Central Ohio bias or have you seen him and think his skills are a step below the Columbus wrestlers? Brakeman has him five spots behind Boyd, but Brakeman has Boyd three spots behind Strope, and we all see how that went last weekend. It would seem to me that the Strope/Terry quarter will be one of the highlight matches Friday night.
I'm also interested to see McDougle/Longwell in the quarters.

And it ain't parts unknown.

Everybody's somebody's kid. If you pick anyone to win, you're picking someone to lose...no slight intended. BTW, in those brackets I saw you filling out this past weekend, did you have Cruisers winning in every weight class they were entered?cruiser_96 wrote: I love how people already have Terry in the quarters... Hint #1...The District tournament is coming up.....Im going to talk about it. Hint #2 When you see my name .....don't click on it.......OK
have a good day
Cruiser.
***Any and all posts leading up to this point were attempts to cross-reference. TRUST!!! me when I say I know Terry's abilities. We will go out with every intent and game plan to win that match. On paper, we're outmatched. But , especially at this point in the season, never underestimate the power of the will.
You know I'm razzin', bitter. I ain't hatin.
