Very interesting stuff. If all my info is correct: Bryan lost to Wauseon and Delta, Evergreen lost to Delta and Bryan, Wauseon lost to Evergreen and Archbold, Delta lost to Wauseon and Archbold. Archbold has a loss to Evergreen and plays at Bryan 2/26, if Archbold wins they will claim the NWOAL crown by themselves but if Bryan gets the win more NWOAL teams will be league champs than won't be.

No, Delta beat Evergreen in the league game. Saturday night was the non-league contest. It is all up to Bryan now. If everybody who should win, does, and Bryan beats Archbold, then they all get to kiss their sisters. The league trophy will get broken up into 5 pieces and get shipped out to the 5 weiners, I mean winners.

I swapped my schools around, Evergreen did beat Delta saturday night in a nonleague contest. I heard Mossing put up 30 and Delta only had one free throw.Rolly67 wrote: Delta did beat evergreen in a nonleague contest

It's not too hard to beat Delta with a zone. They will chuck it from the cheap seats all night long if you make them.

If nothing else, the equality certainly makes every week exciting. It would be a lot of fun to be in a league where everyone, save a very few, had a legitimate shot at the title right to the last set of games!

It really shows the mediocrity of the NWOAL this year.

Archbold made the problem go away. Oberhaus is probably right about the league. There may not be a great team in the NWOAL this season, but it still sustains interest in some of the schools that usually don't have the opportunity to play for a title.

Archbold, Evergreen, Delta and Wauseon all advance to districts tonight. We'll have at least one NWOAL team in the finals as Evergreen and Archbold face off. I think Archbold gets this win. Delta will bow out against Tinora. Wauseon plays Libbey and although I don't know much about Libbey, I doubt Wauseon has the team speed to stay with the Cowboys.
