Does this come as a surprise to anyone? Maybe he should have tried a little harder in that playoff game or at least not post it on his facebook page.

I would give up the #6 pick for him.

Good thing you're not a GM.

I would give up a #6 pick for an allstar db any day over a 1st round qb bust.

What would you do with the #6 pick? get a defensive back that you have NO IDEA if they will be good or not?

Would you have traded Cromartie for our top picks...

1999- Tim Couch (failure)
2000- Courtney Brown (failure)
2001- Gerald Warren (failure)
2002- William Green (failure)
2003- Jeff Faine (failure)
2004- Kellen Winslow (failure)
2005- Braylon Edwards (failure)
2006- Kamerion Wimbley (okay so far)
2007- Joe Thomas (Very good so far)
2007- Brady Quinn (failure)
2008- None (failure)
2009- Alex Mack (Good so far)

So you'd rather do this ^^^^ than get Cromartie?

Browns actually have the #7 pick, and for the most part you don't give up an early 1st round pick for a DB. You have to trust in your GM to make a a good selection in a draft such as this. However with the Browns history of failure, I can't say I blame you, but for every Browns blunder, there is a team like the Colts-Patriots who've drafted very well.

And Cromartie, is very overrated.

Lol okay. BTW - I don't trust a GM or a draft pick.. they are a crap shoot.

When I originally made my statement, I thought you were a Seahawks fan, since you said the #6 :)

Like I said with the Browns, I don't blame you for wanting to get a player who've you seen can perform.

My bad on the pick. I just want us to have a player that actually helps us win.

can't imagine a team givin up a great deal for him. If anyone does, it might be Dallas they have Jones, Barber, Choice at RB and a thin secondary.

A Barber-Cromartie deal was rumored a few weeks so, it wouldnt shock me to see him end up in Dallas.

The bengals should give up Benson (while the stock is high) and then draft another runningback.

The Browns should send Harrison and Cribbs for him, and then draft CJ Spiller.

Only a complete Browns homer would think that would garner enough trade value to get someone like Cromartie.

I'm not even a Browns fan. LOL

And really? Harrison is a decent prospect. And who knows what they're really looking for--I don't know how bad they want to move him and Cribbs is a wanted man in a BIG way around this league.

Wow. That is all I can say. Just wow. Do you even watch football? You are aware that the Bengals had two of the better corners in the AFC last year, right?

says the guy who thinks the Bengals should trade the most important guy in their offense for a guy who plays a position where they are already stacked at.

I don't want the Cowboys to give up any of their RB's for him. I like what we have there. Those guys havn't exactly stayed healthy, so it's nice to have 3 guys that can all go for over 100 on any given day. Plus, the Cowboys secondary has shown improvement with the young guys having a nice year.
